PRESENTATION

Rochefort & Associés is an investment banking firm based in Paris and Beijing with additional partner offices in New York and London. The bank has an operational team composed of alumni from Messier Maris & Associés, Schroder Salomon Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, HSBC and Lazard, i.e. 60+ years of aggregated professional experience and a closed transaction amount of more than 40 billion euros. As part of its expansion, Rochefort & Associés is currently looking for a new M&A Analyst for its Paris office.

 

MISSION

The Analyst will have large responsibilities as well as the opportunity to rapidly gain investment banking experience and assist as full members of deal teams on a broad variety of projects and tasks, including:

  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials;
  • Performing market studies and other sectorial analyses;
  • Gathering public information through numerous sources;
  • Creating merger and financial model analyses;
  • Performing valuation and company operating models;
  • Drafting client confidential materials (e.g. Information Memos, Teasers, Management Presentations, etc.);
  • Screening of potential buyers and targets;
  • Follow-up of sell-side and buy-side processes.

 

PROFILE

Education: High academic credentials from leading business and engineering schools and top-tier universities

Major: Corporate finance

Experience: A prior experience in corporate finance (audit, transaction services, investment banking, private equity, etc.) is required

Required skills: The candidate should possess a broad set of quantitative, qualitative and interpersonal skills, be a strong team player, be committed and be able to perform under pressure and against tight deadlines

IT skills: MS office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Languages: Fluent French and English. Chinese and/or another European language would be a plus

Compensation: Competitive (+bonus)
